Founder, Rule & Form

I’ve spent over two decades turning complex structural requirements into clear, consistent, and lasting digital products. The best systems explain themselves through use.

I’ve spent over two decades turning complex structural requirements into clear, consistent, and lasting digital products. The best systems explain themselves through use.

Rule & Form comes from that mix of structural judgment and hands-on execution: years of client work, agency leadership, enterprise product systems, and independent software built from the ground up.

Freelance: Built broad execution range across client websites, CMS builds, brand systems, campaigns, and production-heavy digital work.

Agency: Led interactive work across brand, web, campaign, and client-service environments.

Enterprise: Delivered internal tools, marketing systems, and product experiences for organizations including Capital One, Ford, TIAA, and Avid.

Independent: Designed, architected, and built VibeFarm, a structured prompt composition workspace, end to end.

When I’m not designing systems, I’m usually studying the form beneath things: interfaces, language, scripture, tools, history, and the small choices that quietly shape behavior.

Philosophy

What I believe in

01

Style should do work

Great products need more than correctness. Typography, pacing, motion, and detail should clarify meaning, create atmosphere, and make the work feel deliberately made, not merely assembled.

02

Calm complexity

I’m drawn to dense, high-constraint problems, but complexity does not need to announce itself. The best systems carry their weight quietly: composed, legible, and easier to move through than they were to create.

03

Precision builds trust

A product announces its quality through small, unglamorous things: consistent behavior, sensible defaults, handled edge cases, and decisions that carry all the way through. That precision is what makes digital work feel dependable instead of improvised.

04

Built to last

Launch is the beginning of pressure, not the end of it. I design for the reality that comes after approval: growth, messy content, edge cases, changing requirements, and the long life of the system after the first presentation.
