Rule & Form communications

Communications Terms

These terms explain the difference between account messages, customer-requested contact, and marketing communications.

Privacy PolicyTerms of ServiceCommunicationsCookies

Rule & Form currently records communication consent and supports customer-requested contact paths. A business customer remains responsible for the communications it sends, the numbers and email addresses it uses, and the laws that apply to its campaign.

01Account and service messages

We may send email or other notices needed to create, secure, maintain, or recover an account; confirm a requested action; respond to support; notify you about a service change; or address security, billing, or legal matters. These messages are transactional or service-related, not a promise that you will receive promotional messages.

02Customer-requested contact

A Rule & Form-managed website may let a visitor request a callback or send details to a contractor. The form records the information submitted, the selected channel, and the disclosure shown at the time of submission. A typical disclosure is:

By requesting a callback or sending your details, you agree that the business may contact you about this request by phone, text, or email.

That request is directed to the contractor whose website you used. It does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing, and it is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

03Text messages and calls

Where a business customer enables text or callback handling, the business must have a lawful basis and any consent required for the call or message it sends. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient’s wireless plan.

For messages from a business customer, reply STOP, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE where reply texting is available to request no further texts from that sender. Reply HELP only where the sender supports that instruction, or contact the business directly. A business must honor reasonable revocation requests and must not make marketing consent a condition of buying its goods or services.

Rule & Form is not the contractor’s customer-service department. If a message concerns a contractor’s work, ask that contractor to stop or correct the communication. If the message appears to come from Rule & Form itself, contact hello@ruleandform.com.

04Marketing email

If Rule & Form sends commercial email, it will use accurate sender information, identify the commercial nature of the message where required, include a usable unsubscribe method, and honor opt-out requests as required by applicable law. An unsubscribe request for marketing does not necessarily stop transactional or security messages that are needed to operate an account or fulfill a request.

05Business customer responsibilities

  • Use numbers and addresses only where you have the necessary rights, notices, and consent.
  • Keep customer-facing privacy and communication disclosures accurate for the actual workflow you enable.
  • Maintain suppression and opt-out records and stop messaging a person when a valid request is received.
  • Do not use Rule & Form to send unlawful spam, robocalls, robotexts, or deceptive messages.
