Add every new website lead to Salesforce as a lead, with where it came from.
Overview
If your business runs on Salesforce, every lead from your website can be there too, as a Salesforce lead with the website as its source.
Today that goes through Zapier. Soon you’ll sign in to Salesforce once from your portal, and every lead will arrive with what they need, their words and the page they came in on.
Then the work comes back. When a lead converts and closes, Rule & Form sees it, and learns which pages and towns bring in the work you want.
How it works
On your website
A customer asks for work.
Someone fills in the form on your website. You get a text and an email straight away, as you always do.
Into SalesforceVia Zapier
Zapier passes it to Salesforce.
The lead goes to your Zap the moment it arrives, and the Zap creates a new lead in Salesforce.

Soon, no Zap at all.
Connect Salesforce once in your portal and every lead arrives as a lead, with its context attached.

What it became
- When the lead converts
- When the opportunity closes, and for how much
Setup
- In your portal, open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Webhook.
- In Zapier, start a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook, and paste its address into your portal.
- Press Send a test lead, so Zapier can see what a lead looks like.
- Add the step that creates the record in your software, match the fields once, and turn the Zap on.
About 15 minutes
What stays the same
- Your team works in Salesforce exactly as it does today.
- You decide what every lead becomes. Rule & Form never creates jobs or estimates for you.
- Every lead is still texted and emailed to you, so nothing is lost if a Zap stops.
- Your Salesforce account, plan and login stay yours.
Questions
Which Salesforce edition do I need?
Salesforce lets other software connect on Enterprise and above, or on Professional with its API add-on. That applies to Zapier too.
Do I need a paid Zapier plan?
Yes. The webhook step in Zapier is on its paid plans. When the direct connection arrives, you won’t need Zapier at all.
Could the same lead arrive twice?
Every lead carries its own key. If a send times out, we send it again with the same key, so a step that checks the key never adds a lead twice.
Does it cost extra?
Not from us. Sending leads out is included in your Rule & Form plan.
