Who owns my domain, website and details?
The short answer
You do. Your domain stays registered in your name, with the company you bought it from. Your business details are yours. We run the website for you while you’re a customer.
Your domain
Your domain, like yourbusiness.com, stays registered with the company you bought it from, in your name. You pay them for it, not us. To use it with Rule & Form, you point it at your new site. You can point it somewhere else whenever you like. How the switch works.
Your business details
Your services, towns, hours, phone number and story are yours. You can see and change them any time on the Business screen.
Your leads
Every lead from your website is yours. It's texted and emailed to you, kept in your portal, and sent to your job software if you connect one. We never sell or share your leads.
Your blog posts and legal pages
If you brought them from your old site, they're yours, word for word, exactly as you wrote them.
Your accounts
Your Google Business Profile, your Google Analytics, your ad accounts and your job software all stay in your name. If you give us access to help with one, like being a manager on your Google profile, you can remove it whenever you like.
Your website
We build, host and run your website for you while you're a customer. It's built from pages we write for your trade, with your details in them. If you cancel, your site isn't deleted. What happens if you cancel.
