The short answer
Your business name, your trade, your phone number, where you’re based, the towns you serve and the services you do. That’s enough to build your whole site. A few short setup questions fill in the rest, and you can add more any time.
To build your site
To build your whole site, we need six things:
- Your business name
- Your trade, like plumbing or HVAC, and any other trade you also do
- Your phone number, the one customers should call
- Where you're based
- The towns you serve
- The services you do
If you give us your current website, or pick your business from Google, most of these are filled in for you. You confirm them with a tap, fix anything that's wrong, and we build.
Why so little?
Because every page on your site is already written for your trade, carefully, before you arrive. Your details decide which pages you get and fill them in. A site that would take weeks of back-and-forth with a web designer is ready to look at in minutes.
A few setup questions
After your first build, a short setup asks a few things the site can't guess, like whether you serve customers in Spanish. Each answer changes your site straight away, so you can see what it did.
Anything else, any time
Your hours, your story, the towns you've added and the services you've stopped offering all live on the Business screen in your portal. Change something there, and your site is updated everywhere it mentions it. How changes work.
